Compare one serving of Full Bar with two servings of Ezekiel 4:9 Sesame bread from the Food for Life company.

Full Bar - Cocoa Chip (all natural, but processed and not certified organic)

Serving Size (45g)
Calories 170
Calories from Fat 25
Total Fat 3g
Saturated Fat 2g
Trans Fat 0g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 105mg
Total Carbohydrate 31g
Dietary Fiber 4g
Sugars 13g
Protein 5g

Ezekiel 4:9 (flourless, sprouted, organic grain bread - no sugars from processed ingredients)

2 Slices:

Serving Size (68g)
Calories 160
Calories from Fat 10
Total Fat 1g
Saturated Fat 0g
Trans Fat 0g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 150mg
Total Carbohydrates 30.0g
Dietary Fiber 6.0g
Sugars 0g
Protein 8.0g

Ezekiel bread is about $4 for 20 slices. In my example here, that's between 40 and 50 cents per "dose" as opposed to a $3 Full Bar.

As a recovering overeater myself, researching Full Bar reminds me that during periods where I find myself trying to fall back into binge eating I need to find a way to deal with a stomach that has been stretched from years of over consumption. It may be all natural, but there is a lot of sugar in these Full Bars. It's probably a lot less sugar than what an obese person would consume if they filled their enlarged stomach with the "normal" meal that they intend to eat within a few minutes of eating this bar, but still. Similar results could probably be gained from a few slices of sprouted "Ezekiel" bread for a lot less money ($4 p/loaf) and just as much or more nutrients.
